George A. O’Toole Jr., United States District Court In this double feature session two timely topics will be presented: MedImmune, Inc. v. Genentech, Inc. (2007) changed the landscape of patent litigation. Hear a report from the frontlines on how these changes affect declaratory judgment litigation. This session will present an analysis of the issues from the plaintiff’s, defendant’s and judge’s point of view. The United States District Court, District of Massachusetts, adopted new Local Rule 16.6, Scheduling And Procedures For Patent Cases on November 4, 2008.
