Superior Court Judge Thomas P. Billings; Regional Administrative Judge for Civil Business, Middlesex

Judge Billings will reprise for the bar a Flaschner Judicial Institute presentation he recently gave to Superior Court Judges. His lecture and materials will provide practical guidance to a confusing and complex area often feared by those who threaten it as much as by those who are threatened. Judge Billings' lecture will dispel any lingering fear by detailing the substantive requirements for bringing a civil contempt action, along with effective defenses, pointers, do's and don'ts, and ample examples of typical civil contempt actions.
